Handcrafted in Germany, the Modern Shaving brush follows both ergonomic and aesthetic principles. The handle is made of plum wood, with a chrome-plated metal rim. The plum wood, with its intriguing colour and vivid grain, is turned and sealed to protect the brush against water. The chrome-plated rim and base is corrosion-resistant, very long lasting and has a luxurious lustre. The brush head is made of fine badger hair, that is softer than pure badger but somewhat firmer than silvertip badger. It is extremely well suited for wet shavers who value the softness of badger hair and want to achieve a massaging effect.
