Handcrafted in Germany, the Modern Shaving brush follows both ergonomic and aesthetic principles. The handle is made of pine thermowood, with a chrome-plated metal rim. The thermowood, is a natural pine material that is modified in a special heating process, resulting in a durable, water-resistant product. The chrome-plated rim is corrosion-resistant, very long lasting and has a luxurious lustre. The brush head is made of fine badger hair, that is softer than pure badger but somewhat firmer than silvertip badger. It is extremely well suited for wet shavers who value the softness of badger hair and want to achieve a massaging effect.
